5 Years with Achilles Network: A Danpol Ltd. Perspective

As Danpol Ltd., we're thrilled to share our five-year journey as a proud member of the Achilles Network. It's been a transformative period for our business, significantly enhancing our visibility, streamlining our pre-qualification processes, and opening doors to numerous opportunities within a highly competitive procurement market.

When we first joined, our primary goal was to increase our presence and credibility across various industries. The Achilles Network, a truly global network, offered a solution for supply chain pre-qualification across all industries for businesses of all sizes. The initial appeal was the simplicity of the process: a single questionnaire to pre-qualify with new buyers, regardless of their industry or location. This "network effect," as Achilles describes it, allows buyers and suppliers to collaborate through a single platform, reducing duplication and improving compliance.

One of the most immediate benefits we experienced was the full cross-sector visibility. Being searchable to over 200 buyers who make thousands of purchasing decisions annually has been invaluable. The "Member" level, which is free to join, provided us with a fast-track questionnaire focusing on key company information and the products and services we offer. This initial step alone allowed us to gain exposure and market our company to new customers in a free and simple marketplace.

Over the past five years, the Achilles Network has consistently provided a steady flow of opportunities, as echoed by other members. The "Supplier NOTiCE" feature has been particularly useful, informing us about tenders specific to our offerings and allowing us to set up alerts directly to our inbox, including those from OJEU and FTS. This proactive approach to tender alerts has been a game-changer for our business development strategy.

As our engagement deepened, we upgraded to higher levels within the network. The "Silver Level" provided a broad assurance questionnaire covering key risk and compliance areas, including financial, health and safety, and ESG questions. This not only helped us demonstrate our commitment to these critical areas but also streamlined our internal document management. With "Silver Level," we could maintain and manage business-critical supporting documentation, such as certificates and policies, in one central, secure location. This has been crucial for staying audit-ready and compliant with evolving regulations.

The ability to respond directly to Requests for Information (RFIs) from potential customers by providing additional details through the "Request Information" feature has also proven highly efficient. This direct line of communication and streamlined information sharing has undoubtedly contributed to our success in securing new contracts.

Achilles' commitment to robust risk monitoring and compliance is evident in its comprehensive assessment protocols, which cover a wide range of risk dimensions. These include carbon and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), environmental, social, and governance (ESG), financial stability, health and safety, human rights, online reputation management, watch lists and sanctions, and Authorized Push Payment Fraud prevention. This holistic approach ensures that we, as suppliers, are continuously evaluated against high standards, which in turn builds trust with buyers.

The recent integration of GoSupply, GRMS, and InfoControl into the Achilles brand has further strengthened its capabilities, particularly in areas like automated, insight-driven compliance management and enhanced risk detection. This continuous evolution ensures that the network remains at the forefront of supply chain risk management.

In conclusion, our five years with the Achilles Network have been marked by significant growth and increased efficiency. It has not only helped us increase our presence in the market but also provided us with the tools and visibility to secure new business opportunities and demonstrate our credibility to a wide range of buying organizations. We highly recommend the Achilles Network to any supplier looking to maximize their visibility and streamline their procurement processes.
